The Firs Retreat Center is conveniently situated in Bellingham, Washington, on a beautiful 8.5-acre campus setting with mature fir and cedar trees. The central location makes this a perfect venue for your next banquet or meeting.


Celebrating a group or team accomplishment? Looking for a venue for up to 250 to host your next fundraiser banquet? The Dining Room at the Retreat Center is the perfect atmosphere for your banquet. Ample parking is available to guests.

We offer full banquet services, so there is no need to stress over the event. The Firs staff expertly handles every detail, from custom-planned menus and helping with decorating ideas to assisting with media needs.

Meetings/Day Use:

Retreat Center meeting rooms can accommodate groups up to 250. Is your meeting goal to communicate to your group effectively and efficiently with limited interruptions? We have a variety of media equipment. Ample parking is available to guests.

Fresh coffee is provided in the meeting room, as well as a variety of hot teas, hot chocolate, and ice water. Our kitchen can even provide a wide variety of snacks during a break, or a full lunch. Break away from your typical meeting area and enjoy the environment The Firs offers.

Meeting Rooms

The following meeting rooms are available for your use at the Retreat Center.

Alpine Room

The Alpine Room can seat up to 175 people and includes a piano, screen, dvd player, video projector, six-channel sound system, fridge/freezer, microwave, snack table, and coffee/tea service area. A single restroom is available in the meeting room. Wi-Fi is included.

Cedar Room

The Cedar Room is a 2-floor meeting area. The upper floor is a loft with 4 tables and 16 chairs. The main floor can seat up to 50 people and includes a piano, whiteboard, gas fireplace, fridge/freezer, microwave, snack table, and coffee/tea service area.  Wi-Fi is available.

Maple Room

The Maple Room can seat up to 50 people and includes a screen, dvd player, video projector, fridge/freezer, microwave, snack bar, and coffee/tea service area. Two restrooms are available in the meeting room. Wi-Fi is available.

Noble Hall

Noble Hall is a spacious meeting area with ample floor space and a large stage up front. There is a 4-channel sound system and a projector screen on the stage and a snack table located at the back. There are also 2 restrooms located at the back of the room.
