ASA - The best part of your day!

ASA is an After School Adventure program, serving students in the Bellingham School District (K-fifth grades), during non-school hours. ASA is located in a beautiful camp setting at The Firs, east of Bellingham on Cable Street (off of Lakeway Drive).

Each year, the ASA program centers around a major theme, creating a backdrop of fun and adventure, making a child's experience new and exciting EVERY DAY!

       

This school year, ASA is "Thinking Big". Join us for an epic year at ASA; we are busting out the walls, taking it to the top, going overboard. This is going to be the BIGGEST year of fun and ADVENTURE in ASA history. 
   

To better serve your child care needs, we offer these adventures:

BEFORE SCHOOL ADVENTURE:
The Before School Adventure program runs from 6:45-9:15 AM every day. A light breakfast is served around 7:30 AM. Special Interest Classes will be offered from 7:30-8:30 AM, bi-weekly (for an extra fee, depending on the class). 9:00-9:15 AM students are transported to their schools. *See Transportation below.

      

KINDER ADVENTURE:

The Kinder Adventure program runs Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday with alternating Mondays.

AFTER SCHOOL ADVENTURE:

The After School Adventure program runs 3:30-6:15 PM and is full of exciting adventures every day, such as: drama, dance, ceramics, fun in the forest, and so much more!*See Transportation below.

       

ALL-DAY ADVENTURES:
All-Day Adventures are special days offered throughout the year, when kids are out of school - on most holidays or teacher work days. We always have an extra fun program planned for these days, often offering fabulous field trips and more! These days do require an additional fee above your regular tuition. You'll want to stay tuned to see where we're off to next!

      

**Supervised Transportation:
Supervised transportation is provided from the following schools:  Geneva, Carl Cozier, Wade King, Roosevelt, Silver Beach and Northern Heights Elementary Schools.

       

Our Purpose:

The purpose of the ASA program is to provide a safe, warm and caring environment, through recreational and educational care, for children of working parents.

      

ASA is a Washington State licensed child care program, offering some financial assistance (DSHS) to those families in need.
       
 

TO REGISTER FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR:
If your child was not in the ASA program during the 2009-2010 school year and you would like to join us for the 2010-2011 school year, please fill out the Enrollment Form as well as the state required Immunization Form. Enrollment in the ASA program requires a $50 yearly enrollment fee ($10 for each additional child). Please return forms to:

TO RE-ENROLL FOR THE 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR:
If your child is currently in the ASA program, please fill out the Re-enrollment Form for the 2010-2011 school year. Please note that re-enrollment requires a $50 re-enrollment fee ($10 for each additional child).
  
TO REGISTER FOR THE AWESOME SUMMER ADVENTURE:
To enroll for the Awesome Summer Adventure, please fill out the Registration Form and Health Form and submit with your $25 deposit per week, per child or payment in full (DSHS families may be exempt - please notify us of your DSHS payment plan) to:
